    Pursuant to § 2-3-503 (2), C.R.S., the Director of the Office of Legislative Legal Services serves ex officio as the Revisor of Statutes for purposes of statutory publications or the director may appoint another employee of the office to serve as Revisor of Statutes. Effective October 15, 2024, Ed DeCecco appointed Yelana Love to serve as Revisor of Statutes.

Some legislation is passed to be effective contingent upon another event happening and appropriate notice being sent to the Revisor of Statutes. Revisor's Changes (Gray Book)

Every year, the Revisor compiles a list of changes made in accordance with the authority granted in § 2-5-103, C.R.S. These revision lists are also known as the Gray Book.
